At The Villainettes Sisterhood, we believe sisterhood is about more than friendship and connection. It is also about responsibility ‒ toward one another and the communities around us.
For years, we have supported charitable initiatives both locally and internationally. From small acts of kindness to larger community projects, everything we do is driven by one purpose: to make a meaningful difference for those who need it most.
Whether we are collecting clothing, supporting food banks, raising awareness, or simply offering a helping hand and a listening ear, we are committed to strengthening our communities from the ground up.
Our involvement takes many forms. Sometimes you will see us at events and festivals; other times, we work quietly behind the scenes alongside local organisations and community initiatives. But at the heart of every effort are people. We believe in creating warmth, support, and opportunities by using our network, our creativity, and our hands-on approach to give back where it matters most.
Examples of our charity work
Local action for A.S.D. Tibur Coni Lotta
On April 1st, 2026, our Italian sister Federica De Angelis organized a heartfelt charity event in support of A.S.D. Tibur Coni Lotta, a local Olympic wrestling club that means so much more than sports.
The club provides a safe and welcoming environment for children with autism and for young people who have experienced bullying or other forms of violence. Through wrestling, they learn to build strength, confidence, and resilience while finding friendship, support, and a sense of belonging.
We are incredibly proud of Federica for bringing people together for this meaningful cause and for helping make a positive difference in the lives of these children.
Local action for the children of the Community of Sant’Egidio
On Saturday, September 6th, 2025, our Italian sister, Federica De Angelis, hosted a local charity event dedicated to donating educational materials to the children of the Community of Sant’Egidio.
Founded in Rome in 1968, the Community of Sant’Egidio is a Christian community rooted in prayer, service to the poor, and a commitment to peace. Through this initiative, Federica and everyone involved helped provide children with valuable learning resources and demonstrated the spirit of compassion and sisterhood that lies at the heart of The Villainettes Sisterhood.
